Directs and oversees mailroom activities including the sorting and delivery of incoming mail, as well as the preparation and sending of outgoing mail. Monitors inventory, checks and reorders items as needed. Receives and allocates office supplies. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
+ Responsible for effective implementation and management of Zebra mailroom.
+ Responsible for shipping and receiving of international and domestic functions.
+ Responsible for working with FedEx and UPS on a daily basis.
+ Provides training on workflow and machine operations when necessary.
+ Ensures payroll accuracy by overseeing and correcting all time clock punches.
+ Meets quality and deadline standards by the effective use of job scheduling practices.
+ Maintains efficient workflow by holding direct reports accountable for quality and efficiency of their work.
+ Ensures all direct reports execute objectives posting productivity, quality and deadline results.
+ Maintains positive internal working relationships with all department employees by communicating in a professional manner.
+ Completes site reports and other paperwork on time and accurately.
+ Completes month-end management reporting.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Requires 5 years' experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
+ Requires 1 to 3 years' supervisory experience.
+ Requires mail and management experience.
+ Extensive knowledge of mailroom department processes.
+ Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
+ Requires high school diploma.
