Job Summary

Exciting Project Manager/Business Analyst Opportunity with Alternative Markets!

Alternative Markets has an exciting new opening, reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, to lead key projects that will drive our business forward. This role will provide the opportunity to leverage your strategic thinking, problem solving, and project management capabilities to drive significant impact in Alternative Markets.

A primary responsibility and large percentage of time for this role will be focused on driving the New Programs process from initiation through implementation as we bring new programs to Zurich. Working with the New Programs team will provide you with the opportunity to:

+ Work with leaders across the Zurich organization on a regular basis (including Programs, Sales, Technical Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, IT, Actuarial, and others)

+ Work directly with Program Administrators with programs ranging from $20M-200M GWP

+ Be involved with and work on a multitude of different projects learning about the Marketplace, Programs Business, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and so much more

+ Utilize project management capabilities to define and lead large, complex projects involving research, analysis, collaboration, influencing, coordination and fact-finding

In addition to driving the New Programs process, this role will have the opportunity to work with other parts of Alternative Markets on key initiatives that will take the business forward. Working on other initiatives will allow you to gain exposure and experience across Alternative Markets. The expectation is that you will be able to quickly come up to speed on new topics, apply a structured problem solving approach, and work with individuals within Alternative Markets and across our Shared Service Partners to develop robust solutions.

Job Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of increasing responsibility within a corporate or similar environment

+ Project management experience

+ Experience in a key analytical role on projects

+ Must possess in-depth, strong problem solving analytical skills.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills needed; ability to tailor approach based upon audience and message.

+ Strategy, tactics and execution development.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ In-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance industry

+ Experience with insurance products

+ Strategic &/or operational consulting experience
